Learning kitesurfing in Cumbuco is easy! The perfext wind-conditions guarantee fast success. You have time and a lot of space for your first steps. There are no dangerous animals in the sea, no stones, reefs, nothing between you your first and kitesurf-experience. You can start 120 m away from our Pousada.
Our kite-school in the Pousada is equipped with a lot of kiteboarding gear - always up-to-date and updated every 2 - 4 months.

Our classes are held by our IKO-certified teacher Mario, strictly after the IKO-guidelines. Every learner gets the IKO certificate filled with the achieved skills.

We do work very safety-conscius and teach strictly after the IKO-guidelines. A IKO teacher with a valid first-aid certificate is always on your side and all our kites have the up-to-date safety-systems. Each student wears a helmet and protectionwest (also a floating-device) even on the beach to maximize protection.

This is the first part of the beginners' course. You will learn everything about safety. Then it comes to rigging the kite, strting and landing and, of course, how to fly it. We start with a two-line-kite and switch to a four-line-kite after some practice.
This course take 5 hours and is held within 1.5 days.

This is part two of the beginners' course. We learn to fly the kite in light and strong winds. After getting certainty in flying the kite we come to one-handed steering and you learn to let you drag on the water - called the bodydrag. Now you are ready to take the board. We learn to control the kite and the board to the same time. The next step is the waterstart.
This course take 5 hours and is held within 1.5 days.

All our courses are held 2 to 1 - that means there is one IKO-teacher for two learners. This guarantees fast success. Every learner gets the IKO certificate filled with the achieved skills, that enables you to rent kitegears around the world.

Private lessons are perfect, when you don't feel absolutely sure and like to go kiting under supervision. There is always a IKO-teacher with you for the fastest success.
